| As the senior economic adviser at the U.S. Consulate General, Mumbai, for over 32 years, Monie has the unique experience of handling American and Indian economic and commercial relations. His major achievements: |

- Led business delegations to the U.S.: Monie conceived, designed, organized and led three financial services delegations to the U.S. enabling Indian decision-makers in the private and government sectors learn from the U.S. financial system.
- In 1985, Monie led a 34-member team of Indian finance professionals many of whom were CEOs of their companies such as JM Financial and DSP (now bought over by Merrill Lynch), and CEOs of some public sector banks, stock brokers, and the Controller of Foreign Exchange from the banking regulator, the Reserve Bank of India.
- In 2002, Monie took a young team of 16 high level executives from financial service companies such as Cholamandalam Finance, SBI Life Insurance, and ICICI Prudential to study the American pension fund system and distribution of life insurance products. India is now ready to follow a similar system of private fund managers.
- In 2006, Monie took a delegation of some 20-22 senior level executives including several CEOs of mutual funds, real estate funds, real estate and infrastructure developers, lawyers and bankers to study the American system of real estate financing particularly the Real Estate Investment Trust model and the mortgage backed securities.
- Monie has reported extensively on India’s financial sector developments and policy, macro-economy, foreign investment, private equity and the business climate. With his deep insights of the economy he has successfully anticipated structural changes that have been occurring in India’s business and the economy.
- Monie has done market research reports on pollution control equipment and railroad equipment, and handled trade and investment promotion activities covering various sectors such printing equipment and oil and gas.

| Monie holds a Masters degree in Economics from University of Bombay. He has received several Meritorious Honor Awards for excellence at the Consulate General. He has published several articles on Indian business and economy in leading newspapers and business magazines. Also, he has written analytical pieces for Business Asia, Hong Kong, on doing business in India. |

| Mr. Monie was awarded by the U.S. Secretary's Career Achievement Award in recognition of thirty-two years of "outstanding U.S. government service and with appreciation for his many contributions to promoting economic and commercial ties between the U.S. and India." |
